The worldwide phenomenon Doctor Who has long been a television staple. With a mixture of drama, horror, comedy and sci-fi, the show caters for everyone. But just how much science is in science fiction? To find out, we_x0019_ re bringing together a group of experts and forcing them to sit through countless episodes of Doctor Who. Luckily, as well as being scientists (plus one science nerd), they_x0019_ re also huge Doctor Who fans _x0013_ one even looks suspiciously like one of the Doctors. Join comedian Rob Lloyd, physicists Martin White and David Jennens (University of Melbourne), and astronomer Allie Ford (Monash University) as they take a light-hearted look inside Doctor Who. They_x0019_ ll find out just how art interprets and imitates science, and how truthful some of the science is in science-fiction.
