WORKSHOP FORMAT: Whether participants are looking to make their mark in Stand-up Comedy or to use the invaluable skills otherwise in public speaking, performance, business communications, or writing, I have found that the best way to lock those skills in is to work toward a performance. (Scary... yes I know& ) So with the graduation performance to look forward to, students are _x001C_ pressurized_x001D_ and get amazing results (and well as have an unforgettable experience of a lifetime on the night !) The course will cover communication, performance and comedy basics essential to great Stand-up (and most other performance and communication forms). Students will take raw concepts and workshop their ideas within the class to find their own comic voice and create a 3-5 minute set of original comedy to be performed on the Sunday evening. Audience members often comment with amazement on what the graduates accomplish in only a few days!!! These graduation nights never fail to be exhilarating and triumphant evenings of fun and laughter.
