Award winning Comedian Sally-Anne Hayward makes her Australian debut with an hour of excellent stand up comedy. She is a hugely sought after act on the UK comedy circuit as well as a regular compere on the Glastonbury Festival stages. "Innate effusive likeability with straightforward but effective writing... a primetime act" _x0013_ Chortle. "Small time country posh life versus young lady breaking into the stand up circuit _x0013_ fabulous" - BBC. In Stewed Apple and Runner Beans, Sally-Anne talks about the minutae of life including her cat, her boyfriend and her yoga. Sally-Anne is able to mix a butter wouldn't melt in her mouth appearance with an underlying acid wit. As well as stand up comedy, Sally-Anne has written for television programmes in the UK including 8 out of 10 cats and was one of the team of writers who put together the pilot television show for 'Sarah Millican' which has now been commissioned with a series in it's own right to be aired on BBC2 in 2012. Sally-Anne is also an accomplished radio presenter having co-hosted a breakfast radio show. She is often a guest on various talk shows. Her television acting debut came with a role in the hugely successful Absolutely Fabulous. She is often in demand to host corporate events due to her relaxed amiable style. Sally-Anne was once offered a job behind a bar in Darwin. She didn't get past the interview _x0013_ not because she wasn't able to pour a scooner or midi but because the dress code at lunchtime was bra and knickers. LUNCHTIME? In the evening she was more than welcome to serve the thirsty punters in her jeans and t-shirt but lunchtime was when they would prefer her to be near naked. She declined the offer of work and for the time being fed herself from the sample foods in the air conditioned Woolworths where she used to rush to in order to breath properly, away from the intensity of the heat. Sally-Anne is bringing her lily white sensitive skin to Adelaide for the first time in her life where she intends to enjoy herself immensely. She was even referred to as a 'Sheila' on her last trip to Australia. She was so shocked she started swearing, drinking neat gin and punching random strangers. Sally-Anne is hoping these memories can be erased. "Exceptionally funny" _x0013_ The Independent.
