The Jazz Hop Experiment began late 2009 as an idea between pianist Aaron Nash and vocalist Sam Cherry to play classic hip-hop tracks as jazz numbers. From their love of fusing different musical genres, the duo got to work arranging songs such as Jay-Z_x0019_ s _x001C_ 99 Problems_x001D_ and _x001C_ The Message_x001D_ by Grandmaster Flash. With the help of three sexy songstresses and one of the most talented bands in Adelaide, they formed a killer set and performed to sell-out crowds at the 2010 Cabaret Fringe Festival and 2011 Adelaide Fringe. Since then, the Jazz Hop Experiment has continued to wow audiences around Adelaide, with their ever-expanding repertoire and incredible musical talent.
