Etsuko Kawaguchi returns to Adelaide for the 3rd consecutive year. This time her theme is the Japanese summer. One of this show's highlights is the duet with the 17 gen (17 string bass koto). Kikuchi is one of the pioneers of the 17th string bass koto and has won many medals and awards. They will base the music on Basho_x0019_ s haikus which talks about the singing cicadas in summer in the Tohoku region, the rough seas, and the milky way galaxy in the sky.
