With an unforgettable opening line, "Life after death, after life after death, after life in the ever after speech, goes the chicken or the egg because what goes around comes around cries the balance of life." Parsnip Days is a show about life death chicken, and not going to the beach and jumps off from the platform of absurd theatre into new ground which explores the myriad small questions, triumphs and abuses that are a common thread of human experience. The First production from TOTProj, enjoying a very successful but short season in 2011 is coming to the 2012 fringe having morphed into two distinct shows: Parsnip Days and The Death Of knowledge. The Operating Theatre Project has reworked Parsnip Days to give it a touch of cabaret served on a plate of absurd theatre with a sprig of everyday abuse and triumph. A must see show.
