Eric is a rapid-fire, one-person sketch-comedy show in the tradition of Steve Coogan, Lily Tomlin and Eric Bogosian. An endless cavalcade of uproarious characters, including; the late night DJ taking into the ether, the TV exec with closer to the bone reality shows, Spanish for beginners with Il Profundo the mucho libre wrestler, and every kids dream toy the much loved, Weekend Dad. Eric is performed by Scott Gooding, one of Melbourne_x0019_ s most enduring comic talents. Gooding regularly performs as a member of corporate impro comedy troupe Company X as well as being a well-known comic actor and director in his own right having performed in Prank Patrol, Dungeon Crawl and This Is Set In The Future. His directing credits include World War Wonderful, A Record Or An OBE and First Against The Wall, for which he received a Green Room nomination for best directing. Gooding recently starred in and directed Fourplay for the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Eric is directed by long-performing comedian of stage and television, Scott Brennan, famous for his work on skitHOUSE and Spontaneous Broadway amongst many other credits. This bold feat is only made possible with the help of some of Melbourne's most exciting award winning playwrights namely, Adam Cass, Dom Golding, Emilie Collyer, Lally Katz, Michele Lee, Ben McKenzie, Rob Reid, Robert Rorke, Nic Velissaris and more.
