Vital Organs Collective dance company returns to Adelaide with their Australian premiere of 'JUST OUTSIDE OF ME'. The Melbourne based artists explore the varying speeds of life, sharing their collective journey. Why does time stand still? Why in moments of stagnation or despair, are the strands of time at their thickest, and the clock ticks the loudest? Yet the strands are like silk in moments of elation, where time seems effortless. Silky strands of time slip through our fingers, turning reality into memories. Do you hold on or do you release? What happens in the space between reality and memories? This is the space 'JUST OUTSIDE OF ME'. Vital Organs Collective play effortlessly with the notion of the ticking clock. Performing at an adrenaline inspiring pace, the Vital Organs Collective bring the pulse rate up, executing contemporary dance moves with precision and passion with their signature dynamic physicality & vibrant partner work. 'JUST OUTSIDE ME' explores living in the moment, filling the void & committing to memory. _x001C_ The dancers were outstanding in their agility& The strength and poise of the dancers was astounding combined with the finesse of gentle, slow movements._x001D_ Kathryn Barclay & Edel Perth (RIP IT UP 2011) Featuring original music by NZ/UK composer Norm skipp, video production by Norm Skipp & choreography by Kathleen Skipp.
