He has also worked in Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. His UK TV credits include the BAFTA-nominated "Live Floor Show" on BBC1, "The Empire Laughs Back" on BBC1 and "Tramadol Nights" on Channel 4. "One of the finest acts on the Scottish comedy circuit. Sensitive, yet able to issue sterling, startling invective' (The Guardian) "Affable and abrasive, nothing short of superb" (The Scotsman) John Scott performed to critical and box-office success with his first solo show at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe, following his winning the Take THe Mic competition at the Fringe in 2010. He is currently writing a sketch show for BBC Radio 4, and has previously written for the BBC's Live Floor Show. His TV appearances include The Hour on Scottish TV.
