"The price of admission", is a spoken word performance which casts light on how mankind has arrived at a position where the food we feed our children is laced with known toxins. By any rational standard this would be deemed to be an irrational if not insane form of behaviour. Yet the truth can not be denied, our greed for money has led us down this path of illusion which we hold so dear. Is the pursuit of money, the essence of our capitalistic approach to a stable economy, to enshrined as mankind's greatest achievement? Or its greatest failure? There is to be no middle ground. We have set the wheel in motion, the scope of our failure or triumph will be spectacular. There are pivotal events, and people who have marked this thread of history which is both our heritage and our legacy, a story not told in the classroom, a story every child, every human should know, and consider as we evolve into what will be. All this, and more, with maybe a song or two, presented by an organic farmer who's spent to many hours riding his tractor around in circles, thinking. "he's like a preacher in the Tommy Douglas mold" Winipeg Free Press. "you really root for Wayne Wayne James in this show. He's probably the most genuine, open performer I've seen at the festival all year" CBC Winnipeg. 50c of each ticket sold will be donated to a homeless shelter
