AFQ hosts the amazing flute works of English composer and flute guru, Ian Clarke. This is "the flute as you don't usually hear it". There are fun pieces like "The Great Train Race" that will make you laugh. "Orange Dawn" will transport you to another time and place. You will be lulled by "Hypnosis" "Sunstreams" and "Sunday Morning" and the quirky "Spiral Lament" will pique your imagination. There will aslo be an Australian premier of the newest of Ians ensemble pieces, "Curves" Be prepared for some new sounds and a whole new way to think of flute music.
