The Adventures with Aunty B is a forty minute comedy in pantomime style for junior primary school students. A young brother and sister travel with their rather eccentric Aunty B on a magical train journey that travels backwards and forward in time and visits Burke and Wills journey across Australia, Bushranger Ben Hall who never shot anyone in anger (and who won’t have a gun for this performance) the building of the Trans Australia railway from Port Augusta and the discovery of Gold at Kalgoorlie. The story is told with humour and with songs and dances that the audience are encouraged to join in. This original production contains information from collections at the National Museum of Australia and was first performed at the Come Alive Australian National Museum Festival in Canberra in November 2012.
