Experience the colour and excitement of this award winning festival at Goolwa. The Festival held within the Goolwa Wharf Precinct is set for a weekend filled with on water and on land action, loads of entertainment and opportunity to get up close and personal with wooden river vessels, from elegant yachts to sleek classic speedboats. There is plenty to see and do for all the family; cruise on a Paddle Steamer, indulge in regional food and wine, delight in the entertainment, carnival amusements, puppet shows, stalls and a full program of on water events. Throughout the weekend there is live music on two stages, art and maritime exhibitions including; Robert Hannaford, Wooden Boat Exchange, Dragan Radocaj Photography, model Paddle Steamers and Rough and Ready boat building. Festivities continue into Saturday night with spectacular fireworks, outdoor cinema and didgeridoo and stringed instrument virtuoso Jay Hoad and band. Come for the day or stay for the weekend.
