2012 Derringers Blues Award Finalist, Cal Williams Jr, will be presenting a series of guitar workshops focusing on the Blues. By using songs in the style of Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, Eric Clapton, Elmore James, Sleey John Estes and Son House, Cal's workshops will encompass important Blues guitar techniques such as Slide Guitar, Open Tunings, Blues Chords and Improvisation. Cal will also read a brief history of these six influential Blues guitarists and give an insight into the history and evolution of the Blues.
