Burlesque Bizarre

Begin your Adelaide Fringe experience with a deliciously different Burlesque and Cabaret experience. Presented by 4 star director Christine Danton, this show's diversity ranges from dirty dancing and amazing contortion, to flirtatious snake dancing and feathery fantasy, with the tradition of bump & grind burlesque to the intriguing art of balloon popping and tassel dancing! From building site to burlesque, Italian Stallion and strong man Tricky Nicky will leave the girls screaming for more, whilst cabaret circus star Princess Jascha will hold you breathless with feats of decadence and defiance on the hoopla and spinning trapeze. Winner of Miss Burlesque 2010 Flavella L'Amour presents her brand new act “Let me Entertain You,” also her charming snake-dance “Serpent Surrender.” Brand new to burlesque and direct from The Island of Naughty Girls is dancer/singer/comedian Miss PoppyCock, whilst Sassy Chanteuse, Snuzge Snuzge Fluffy Knicker's talents range from a unique rendition of Tiger Blues to a ridiculous ditty about Hot Nuts! Tying the show together is Adelaide's own favourite contortionist/compere The Amazing Cristina, along with her own feathery friend, Georgie the Dancing Cockatoo. “Burlesque Bizarre” promises a night out you will never forget and a show you will always remember.
