Cobi's freaking out about turning 30. She was counselled by elders not to “settle” until her thirties, so spent her twenties living on different continents getting increasingly over-educated. Having spent much time contemplating her core values, she was shocked to discover that she's a hipster, according to Urban Dictionary. This show is divided into three parts, forming Cobi's 3/3/13 30th birthday festival. The centrepiece of the series - the 2 March late show - is half stand-up, half improvisational theatre. The first and last interview-based shows will be recorded as podcasts for self-indulgent hipster reflection and consumption. Everyone who buys tickets to first and last shows has the option of being listed as an Executive Producer on the podcast. In part one, Gen Y Cobi and friend interview jaded Gen X guest Bryan Lynagh about his dark comedy past and Tuxedo Cat's evolution. Part two involves audience-driven improvisational theatre: those with embarrassing travel tales about Cobi will share one-minute stories, brought to life by impartial comedic folk for your entertainment. Part three entitled “Melbourne Street (so hungover)” features award-winning playwright Emily Steel, who will repeat “I do like a good cobbler” in her Welsh/Oxford accent.
