Scarlet Skyrocket Sydney born Scarlet Skyrocket is a charismatic performer who’s signature style is to combine aerial acrobatics and burlesque to create sensual and moody performances. As well as training in ballet, contemporary dance and aerial, Scarlet studied dance at Macquarie University (2008-2011). She fell in love with burlesque, because of it’s rich history and its ability to shock and mesmerise. Reviews describe her as the “best combined aerial and burlesque act” to have performed at Dr Sketchy’s Byron Bay (2010). She has also entertained audiences in Sydney, and Port Macquarie, performing at nightclubs, festivals and private events, and was the first person to bring Burlesque to the Central Coast of NSW. In 2009 Scarlet choreographed her first burlesque show, and created the burlesque troupe known as ‘the Rocketeers’. Since then Scarlet has become a sought after choreographer for professional performers and this year won her first award for pole dance choreography. Katia Schwartz Katia indulges in many kinds of creative expression. As a child, she trained in gymnastics, contemporary and jazz dance for over five years, which built her natural strength and flexibility. Interested in exploring different areas of dance, Katia has been studying pole dancing for two years.
