On the Shoulders of Giants is a captivating physical theatre show that explores the nature of belonging. Originally developed as part of a Masters of Arts project in the regional town of Bathurst NSW, the show will make its Australian debut onstage as part of Adelaide Fringe Festival - brining a taste of the talent of regional arts practitioners to the Fringe. The show explores the notion of belonging and its relationship to community, family and human connection with a daring honesty from all performers. Utilising verbatim interviews from community members, the elasticity of the human form and the charm of live music, the show reflects on the connections that we often take for granted. Be ready to celebrate the small things as the performers take you on a journey with captivating floating physicality, honesty, fun, courage, acceptance, laughter, imagination and PLAY!
