Mirrored Whispers and Portuguese Dreams

Internationally acclaimed artist, Emma Hack returns to the Adelaide Fringe at The Big Slapple with new collections created this past year. Emma is widely known for her body art in the Gotye, 'Somebody That I Used To Know' music clip and exhibited the world over. Her work has been in much demand over the past year, featured in over 15 art fairs and most recently exhibited in her first solo exhibition in Singapore. This Adelaide Fringe, Emma will showcase her recent collections created this past year, Mirrored Whispers, which recalls many aspects of her childhood; in particular, Emma’s fond memories of her grandmother’s extraordinary garden. Heirloom irises, sweet peas, hydrangeas and gardenias. Her most recent collection being Portugese Dreams, influenced by the blue and white artworks surrounding the building in Portugal on a recent trip throughout the region.
