It’s 2113 and a century since Twilight 5 broke through as the most popular film of all time. Soon afterwards, society collapsed.? Looking back a hundred years, this retrospective exhibition celebrates the peak of rampant consumerism, ignorance and individualism that was 2013 – When We Were Idiots.?Featuring actual artefacts and installations from a time when there were ‘cars’, ‘mobile phones’, ‘red meat’, ‘pop music’, ‘sport’, ‘the stock market’, ‘advertising’ and ‘reality television’. When people actually denied climate change, gay marriage and the existence of vampires. Hard to imagine, isn’t it? The exhibition includes pieces produced by local artists, found objects, authentic artefacts and artistic installations. Opening dates/times: 15 February-17 March. Weekdays from 5.30pm, weekends from 12pm, until late (Closed Mondays except 11 March). Exhibition is free to observe outside of tour times, whenever Gluttony is open. Tours: Tuesday-Sunday at 6pm and 8pm; children’s tours 1pm on weekends. Behind the scenes tours written and performed by comedians, and include additional exhibits, hidden installations and bonus insights. Running Time: 20-30 mins.
