A comedy about immigration. Yuri - a brilliant Eastern European surgeon - arrives in London in search of work and a new life. Instead he meets Patrick, a young man offering help, friendship and a trip to the heart of the English countryside. But what they find there reveals some hard truths about Britain. And what Yuri discovers about Patrick forces him to choose between his new life and his honour. Premiered at the Pleasance, Edinburgh Festival after previews at The Linbury Studio. After sell out performances and 5-star reviews at the Pleasance it transferred to the Battersea Arts Centre (BAC) as part of their Pick of the Fringe season. Regional tour returning to London (Tristan Bates Theatre). Co-produced at the Holden Street Theatre, Adelaide.
