These are 3 beautiful evenings with songs from Greece, Cyprus and UK sung by the award winner singer songwriter Loucas Loizou accompanying himself with acoustic and classical guitars and sometimes piano. Some songs are his original compositions from his CD "Migrants-Metanastes"][www.cdbaby.com/LoucasLoizou with the theme song "Life is a song". Also songs of the oscar winners M .Hatzidakis, M.Theodorakis, K. Hatzis and more.www.youtube/user/Loucas Loizou For this particular work he was presented with the award of The House of Representatives of Cyprus by the President of Cyprus Mr Dimitris Christofias. Some songs are traditional with new arrangements. Loucas Loizou became a refugee in 1974 when the Turkish army invaded Cyprus and occupied his home town. He tells some of his stories and how he managed to control the emotional pain by singing. He waited for 30 years before he got permission by the Turkish Authorities to visit with some of his brothers and sisters their now occupied houses. They knocked at the doors of their houses and the new Turkish occupants ...invited them in for a coffee. He has been waiting for a Cyprus solution for 38 years. Singing and writing songs is the only way to ease the pain.
