After their highly successful string of sell-out Fringe seasons (Sinatra and Basie show, Sinatra Basie and Beyond) the Mike Stewart Big Band and Luke Thompson have joined forces once again to pay homage to some of the most popular Australian songs of all time. With all new and original musical arrangements by Luke, Mike, Nick Mulder and Tom Pulford, this show has to be seen and heard to be believed. There’s a swinging version of a Cold Chisel classic, a Mondo Rock number that resembles a track from a Dean Martin album, and a heart-wrenching saloon singer version of a Crowded classic to mention but a few.
