The Furball Express returns to the Adelaide Fringe with a show from their hearts. They are long time fans of the more eclectic styles of the ‘blues’ music genre. This show is bound to get your feet stomping and bring a smile to your face. The Furball Express is a band of seasoned Adelaide based musicians comprising: - Tonia Brooks (vocals, guitar, percussion) has performed in various bands of many styles over the years, and is pleased to return to her most favourite style of the blues. - Rick Costin (bass guitar, foot) plays a range of styles and instruments, and is an accomplished composer of swampy blues style. - Mark Gishen (guitars, vocals, foot) is a long time blues addict and has performed with a number of bands, of a variety of styles, for many years, however this show sees a return to his favorite stomping ground. - Chris Kelly (guitars, lap slide, vocals, foot) adds just that right amount of spice to pique the rhythm lines. - Ron Kriekenbeek (harmonica, keyboards, vocals, foot) is a highly versatile musician, and provides some of that essential finesse and musical direction to provide a ‘blues’ authenticity rarely seen.
