Sensorial is a collaborative performance of a never before seen or heard synergy of music and art that turns music and art inside out! Art that’s heard…music that’s seen. A world premiere at The Alley during Adelaide Fringe 2013! Music and art combine when violinist Niki Vasilakis & painter Claire Foord present a composition of sight and sound. For the first time these two South Australian international artists merge. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Peter Lehmann's as you experience this extraordinary live performance, by one of Australia's most exciting musicians and emerging visual artists. 30-minute performance, plus pre/post entertainment and artwork for an absorbing 2-hour inside out experience. Claire has painted a selection of works in response to the development and resonance of Niki's composition. The process of which will be shown and complement live music as you see the work evolve from start to finish in a video installation during the concert. Complementing the performances will be an exhibition of artworks and entertainment for an evening of sophisticated fun.
