A chicken walked into a bar… There was an Irishman, an Englishman and a chicken… Why did the chicken cross the road… Adelaide… you may think you’ve heard it all before, but it’s time to ready yourself for a fresh take on comedy as a brand new breed of contestants step up for the South Australian State Final of RAW Comedy 2013. Each wannabe comes with five minutes of material that could contain a killer punchline or the makings of the next big comedy cliché. They may be raw but they’re sure to be cooking as they take on South Australia’s best in what is Australia’s most hallowed comedy competition. The winner will go on to reprezent at the National Grand Final during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April.
