Courting the exotic in dark, musical soundscapes, the group will showcase original compositions featuring David O'Callaghan (guitar), Sophie Calderbank (violin), Michelle Lam (piano) and Matthew Gorgula (drums). The first show of the series will be an intimate performance held at the Tomich Wines Cellar Door, where audiences can enjoy premium Tomich Wines and sample delicious cheeses. This will be followed by a concert at the South Australian Maritime Museum, where the quartet will be playing alongside the magnificent ship, the Active II, which is on display in the main entrance of the museum. The third performance will be an elegant soirée in the beautiful setting of Ayers House. This show will feature Michelle Lam playing the 180-year-old Broadwood grand piano. The fourth will be the grand finale aboard The Popeye, where Monkey Puzzle Tree will serenade guests on a sunset cruise upon the River Torrens. This show coincides with the final weekend of the Fringe Festival and the ticket price includes a complimentary glass of wine (with special thanks to Tomich Wines) and of course, a boat ride.
