Motown Connection presents The Motown Story. The Golden age of music between 1959 and 1971. Before Disco, Funk, Soul and modern R&B there was a movement out of Detroit Motor Town call Motown. Berry Gordy's Motown period produced 110 Top Ten hits including the iconic tunes I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Stop! In The Name Of Love, Respect, Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay, Dancing In The Street and Uptight (Everything's Alright). Relive the great artists like Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye. Supergroups like The Jackson Five, The Temptations, Smokie Robinson and The Miracles, Martha and The Vandellas and The Four Tops are all featured. Celebrate the era with Motown Connection's big 12 piece band and enjoy CLASSIC Songs... SLICK Moves... BIG Harmonies... and FAT Brass. Fresh from sell out shows in 2012, this great new show is not to be missed.
