Chris Finnen's Journey of the Southern Blues debuted at the 2011 Fringe where both the audience and critics labelled it a great success for both musical interpretation and a journey of Chris Finnen's experience both musically and personally. Joined by John Alexandrou on drums/percussion, Lee Nash on bass and Peter Chris on guitar, the journey continues this year with more on offer. These four local artists have joined together once more to push the boundaries of music and look at music from the blues and beyond, melting together sounds and ideas from every corner of the globe. This show is guaranteed to offer the audience an educational journey also as Chris displays his skills beyond the guitar and onto exotic middle eastern instruments brining in some new flavours and twists. A must for the music lover and appreciator.
