the mother woman

Everyone reaches a certain age in their life when they take stock of life choices made, past decisions which now cause regret. Charlotte is at such a point. She doesn't like the word clock, but it is ticking. The singles scene ain't what it used to be. Charlotte ain't what she used to be either. She is becoming increasingly desperate to become a mother, something she never really considered when she was younger & working her way up the real estate ladder. She's tired of selling million-dollar dream homes to newly married couples & happy families with bouncing bubs. She wants a piece of the action herself. But where it was easy to pull a guy just half a dozen years ago, now the selection is somewhat less impressive. Or has she gotten more picky? Regardless, after a traumatic experience with a guy she thought was The One (he hadn't been informed), she is resolved. The quality of the genetic material isn't as important as it used to be. The DNA itself is all that counts. So tonight's the night. Until the Blind Date shows up ... & Charlotte is forced into a dark place to confront herself.
