Cafe Poet Book Launch

Cafe Poet is a collection of the poems inspired by Ray's residency at Sarah's Sister's Sustainable Cafe during 2012. It is published by our local publisher, Wakefield Press. Over a hundred pages of poetry, sometimes funny, sometimes black, written after conversations with customers, and ending with an oral history saga of a LeFevre Peninsular octagenarian. And the cover features an original Stuart Gifford pen-and-ink drawing of the cafe. The cafe poet book launch will be a standing room only event, with generous food and wine, a well-known identity to launch the book and a performance of some of the poems. Customers: come and see how your stories sound in print. Poetry lovers: come and hear some great poetry performed with panache. Foodies: there's something for everyone! Poet and artist will both be available to sign books.
