When James Colley takes on his own brain, whoever wins we lose. Hot off a sell-out run at the Sydney Comedy Festival and an acclaimed run at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, James Colley (BBC WORLD SERVICE, A RATIONAL FEAR (FBI RADIO), AURORA TV) is back with his second solo comedy show. James Colley Vs. His Own Stupid Brain is an hour-long exploration of what it is that makes our brains tick and eventually, inevitably, explode. This show promises to be the funniest, most exciting comedy show of the year to feature the words “cerebral cortex” more than once. Comedically, James has been performing stand up comedy for 5 years. He’s a recurring correspondent on the BBC World Service, a writer on the hugely popular A Rational Fear on FBi Radio, performs regularly with award winning group Project 52, and recently sold out his entire run at the Sydney Comedy Festival. Scientifically, James has appeared on national and international radio with science darling Dr. Karl. He’s been sought out by the Royal Institute of Australia as a science communicator and has even almost finished his bachelor degree in physics at the University of Sydney.
