Alan Stewart, and friends, host "Conversare" at the Whitmore Hotel, last Wednesday of each month, 6pm-9pm. Enquiries on (08) 82127168. This community initiative has received the Australian Civic Trust's Social Award for 2012. The Trust recognises the contribution this event makes to the promotion of a wider "Civic conversation" one of the Trust's emerging goals. The monthly "Conversare" will contribute to Adelaide's revitalizing urbanism, set in the welcoming inner-city local pub, already representing the desirable "Third Place" for the surrounding community.
