Adelaide's favourite Celtic singer/harpist presents "Storybook Journey", performing songs from her much acclaimed album of the same name. Welsh born Siobhan embraces her Celtic roots and enchants with her haunting soprano voice and delicate harp playing. A favourite at Celtic and folk festivals around Australia, Siobhan will be making her UK and US debuts in 2013. Siobhan was born in the small Welsh village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, and moved to Australia when she was 2. She started classical voice training at the age of 9 and took up the harp to accompany her voice after being invited to sing at the 2008 Adelaide Fringe Festival by French singer/harpist Cecile Corbel. In 2010, still only 16 years old, Siobhan presented her own Fringe show "Celestial Echoes". Siobhan's 2013 Fringe show "Storybook Journey" will take you on a reflective musical journey across the Celtic lands of Wales, Scotland and Ireland – and far beyond! Looking like a Celtic princess who has just stepped out of a Tolkien fantasy novel, Siobhan will add a twist to the tale to bring the story to life. You will be enchanted by sublime vocals and heavenly harp with perhaps a surprise or two along the way!
