Finding love is hard. Especially when your brain and mouth aren't always on speaking terms. Wracked by confusion after being dumped by his girlfriend for an all-powerful being, James sets out to discover the secret to true love. Along the way he encounters the usual characters found in every halfway-decent love story; such as an alcohol-loving misogynist, sexy Italians and a classically-trained murderous equine. This uniquely funny story is interlaced with some classical songs from the "Rat Pack Era", more recently popularised by artists such as Michael Buble. After a sell-out season at the Adelaide Fringe in 2012, James McLean returns with a tweaked and improved version of his debut show. "A fun, clever and entertaining show…a rising cabaret/comedy star" – Inside Cabaret "You can’t go wrong… Truly entertaining!" – Adelaide ArtBeat Kryztoff rating: 4.5K James McLean studied acting at the Flinders Drama Centre for four years, graduating in 2011. He wrote and developed this show after attending the Cabaret Summer School in 2011, held by Matthew Carey and Catherine Campbell. David McEvoy is one of Adelaide's finest jazz pianists. He trained (and now teaches) at the Elder Conservatorium, and has performed for many different shows and festivals across Australia.
