Glorious vocal harmony and jaw-dropping beatboxing from acclaimed British vocal group The Magnets, back in Adelaide for the Australian premiere of their hit Best-of-British show HOMEGROWN. One of the break-through acts of the 2012 Fringe and 2011 Cabaret Festivals, this ‘six-man sound machine’ make their music with their mouths alone in a sonically stunning, spectacularly theatrical display of TOTALLY a cappella singing. Conceived amidst the euphoria of the 2012 London Olympics, HOMEGROWN celebrates five decades of British pop music, from The Beatles and Led Zeppelin through to Adele. Highlights include an incredible mega-medley taking in the entire history of British pop and beatboxer Andy Frost’s show-stopping solo.
