Walkaboutfish Records is proud to present the Jay Hoad Band. This funky and high-energy roots/world performance sees Hoad in a cockpit of instruments including didgeridoos, weissenborn lap steel, dulcimer, dulsitar, cigar box guitars, harmonica, ocarina, percussion, loops, djembe, voice and more. Jay has spent the last seven years touring the globe, following the sun and his inspiration for music throughout the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, Australia, Bali, Fiji, Canada and North America, keeping up a relentless performance schedule and performing at some of the worlds most prestigious festivals including WOMAD, Uprising Festival (FIJI), Bob Marley Music Fest (USA), Spiegeltent(AUS), Musikfest (USA), Saarang World Culture Festival (India) amongst many others. The 7 piece band covers many genres of music throughout the show with a solid fiesta-type vibe that has shaken dance floors at festivals from North to South and East to West.
