The 'We as Art, We as Artists' collective is a collaboration of musicians, visual artists and dancers who are create exciting and involving arts experiences for audiences. We are passionate about our arts and are determined to both challenge and enjoy ourselves. Last year was our first time in the Fringe Festival and it was a wonderful experience for us. It was a collaboration of six singer-singwriters who took their original songs and re-arranged them for six part harmony with strings and percussion (no guitars!) and the addition of visual art based around the themes in the songs. The two elements were connected but worked on quite separately. We had great reviews, including a Fringe Benefits reviewer who said it was ..."the best live music I have ever seen". Incorporating a more visual element to 'Drawing Breath', our second show in Adelaide's Fringe Festival, this is less of a music concert and more of a creative experience. This new show mixes live music, body painting, live art and story through movement in a wonderful new outdoor Fringe venue, 'Howl The Moon', in Linde Reserve, Stepney.
